Gallis Hill

Gallis Hill, formerly Gallis Hill & Black Bear, is a multifamily manufactured home park located in Hurley, NY. The Affordable Housing Conservancy is performing multiple upgrades to Gallis Hill:

  • Pave gravel and re-pave existing roads

  • Improve storm water drainage

  • Construct new water treatment building and drill additional wells

  • Add road lighting

  • Upgrade existing homes with driveways, porches, efficient fixtures and energy-efficient equipment

  • Install new sewer system, sand filter systems, and septic tanks

  • Upgrade the community building, management office, and mail facility

  • Add community amenities such as walking trails and a playground

  • Add new manufactured homes to existing pads

These measures will improve the quality of life for all residents and provide more much-needed affordable housing to Ulster County.
