The Affordable Housing Conservancy is utilizing New York State’s Climate Friendly Homes Fund (CFHF) to electrify heating systems, domestic hot water, and make other upgrades to qualifying multifamily housing in the Hudson Valley.

Replaced the tank style gas water heaters with electric heat pump water heaters

New heat pumps connected to the existing ductwork
New air handlers connected to the existing ductwork

Replaced gas furnaces and condensers with cold climate, individual, exterior heat pump units
Upgraded the common area central system, tank style gas water heaters to an electric heat pump water heater system
A solar thermal system will offset the electric costs for the property
